The Community College Leadership Academy (CCLA) is more than a professional development program - it is a catalyst for cultivating the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of community colleges. Rooted in transformational leadership, CCLA equips participants with the leadership mindset, strategic insight, and practical skills to navigate the complex landscape of higher education, empowering them to take on this responsibility with vision, skill, and confidence.

Shortly after stepping into my first administrative position at a community college, I became acutely aware that my academic preparation for the promotion lacked any substantive direction in how to be a good manager, supervisor, or transformative leader. I also knew that I had a responsibility to those whom I was to lead to be effective in my new role.
